Top 5 SCFI Classic Films
The world is a better place for its futuristic cinematic look into the future and in some instance a look into the past. This list is comprised of cult classics and modern day favorites. Enjoy!
5. The Terminator (1984) spawned the classic memorial phrase "I'll Be Back." Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, an A cyborg, was the most exciting film of its time. The delivery of such a brut and unfeeling character sent to earth to destroy one person was horrifying. A mission for which the alien A cyborg pursued relentlessly. The target was a lone woman called Sarah Connor. Sarah is protected by the man named Kyle Reese who would father the future saver child for whom she is being sought for early demise in order to prevent her from every bringing the child into the world. Failure to destroy Sarah Connor meant that her future offspring would lead the human race in a future war with a race of machines. Therefore, the child had to be prevented from existence before that could ever happen. Directed by James Cameron this larger than life film is tremendous in every way. The portrayal of a woman as more than a damsel in distress was almost before its time. Sarah was innocent but became stronger by the minute and the Terminator ... well he did come back in Terminator 2 Judgment Day.
4. The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) starring David Bowie is a vivid look at the life of Thomas Jerome Newton, a humanoid alien, who comes to Earth to get water for his dying planet. He appears harmless somehow and yet is forever of a menacing presence to all whom he encounters. He makes a grand attempt to fit into the society at large to achieve his mission. But, life gets a little complicated when he meets a woman who falls head over heels for him. David Bowie produces a surreal yet poignant performance which makes this role and film unforgettable. Director Nicolas Roeg delivers great direction of this cult masterpiece to make is one of many all time favorites.

The premise of the film is that of a society which police’s its self to the extent of preventing crimes before it has actually occurred. Set in the year of 2054 A.D. crime is eradicated completely from Washington D.C. An elite law enforcing squad "Precrime" aided by three genetically altered humans called "Pre-Cogs" track crimes and criminal intent of the mind in order to keep the streets safe. However, the once believed foolproof system proves to be penetrable when a crime is committed and an innocent man is framed for the crime. Directed by Steven Spielberg, this film is action and more action from beginning to end. Tom gives one of his best performances ever. The film went onto receive praise and a nomination for Oscar.
2. Escape From New York (1981) a true cult classic starring Kurt Russell and Lee Van Cleef is a dark look at the world ala World War III between the United States and Russia. As the war has taken its toll both sides looking for a peaceful resolution to put an end to the upheaval and an unlikely hero emerges from out of the ashes of war when he is offered to rescue the Commander and Chief. The offer would grant this hero a full pardon from his criminal past making it an offer he does eventually find hard not to refuse. The hero is the once special forces soldier turned armed robber and prisoner named "Snake" Plissken played by Kurt Russell. Plissken is given 24 hours to complete this task and so the ride of a lifetime in cinematic terms begins. Directed by John Carpenter this film is a raw and dark look at America ravished by war in every way. Both Kurt Russell and John Carpenter at their utmost best.

There is a gloriously real haunting feeling about this film shot in futuristic terms. It was more than before its time to say the least when it was released in 1982. The brilliance of director Ridley Scott brought forth what can only be described as a masterpiece. Starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer, Blade Runner took cinematic feature length films into a new realm of its own. Harrison Ford gave a stunning performance as Deckard, a blade runner, sent to track down and terminate 4 replicants aka the bad guys. The film that took move goers by storm went onto received 2 nominations for Oscars.

Brangelina Give Zahara Back to her real mother Mentewab Dawit Lebiso
What world do we live in where a African American has been nominated for the Democratic party and yet Brangelina comprised of adultery, on/off set affair, wrecked marriage, divorce, betrayal, entrapment, deception and stolen orphans from third world countries should these two be able to keep a child under such horrible circumstances pertaining a lack of morality or decency.
Brad Pitt's divorce was not even granted before the home wrecker Angelina Jolie made a boasting and deliberate attempt to strike at the then estranged wife Jennifer Aniston with her "I'M PREGNANT" claim. A claim which she later confirmed only a sad three months after the divorce was finalized when at the time she alleged herself to be 5 1/2 months pregnant. Only to give birth to a child she later admitted publicly to sleeping with another man shortly prior to Brad. Also, known as the child may not be his?
Ironically, she gave birth to the alleged biological child whose photos were sold for the then highest bidder five plus whole months after her January 2006 confirmation. She does not appear to be one to really grasp that whole counting the pregnancy months in conjunction with pinning the pregnancy on the most gullible guy in the room... aka Brad Pitt! Now her insensitivity sees her over exposed uselessness prompting a film about a white woman who wants her kids back. The woman does not seem to care to hear of any excuses as to why she cannot have back her white flesh and blood born from her own body child back does she as according to the film version.
Yet, Angelina justifies denying an African birth mother her child's return when that Black African poor non white woman cries out "I WANT MY DAUGTHER BACK" much as the dreary trailers of Angelina Jolie's recent film depicts her as saying "I want my son back...my son" not someone else son, "my son." The bottom line being that the mother never legally surrendered her legal rights over the child. Angelina even claims the child was six months old at the time of the adoption when it came to light that the African mother was alive and not dead at all. As if a deliberate attempt to present the difference in age of the child as grounds to deny the African mother’s birth claims. As known as lying.
Pictures of Brad carrying the child in NYC October 2005 show a child that is so small that she does not appear to be more than several weeks old. If Angelina has nationalized a child in the United States who was inaccurate alleged to be older than she was at the time of the nationalization the child is in fact an illegal alien in this country. Elitism and lying does not change that. A full investigation into the matter I would say is long over due. The immigration department should seek a complete with hearings to both parties interviewed and hear the side of the African mother in order to get to the heart of who is in fact LEGALLY rather than elitism entitled to retaining custody and paternal rights of this exploited child.
The way Brangelina use the other children and a media circus of the already vulgarly exposed fake family, not to mention humanitarian exploits to both divert and distract the world's media from taking up the plight and attention of the Zahara's African mothers heartfelt desire to have her child back is disgusting. What in the hell is the matter with Brad that he does not also have a shred of decency to not involve himself with such a heart breaking tale of woe for a poor Black African woman who has nothing and is still determined to come forward for the child she never gave up legally. Where is the humanity in Brangelina? They do not have a foggiest clue about 'FAMILY VALUES' let alone examples of honesty, honor or decency.
STOP LYING AND MAKING EXCUSES AND GIVE THE CHILD BACK! You are not even a real couple. Angelina desperately acquiring children to trap Brad away from another is not the motherhood for the awards of the year as she damn well knows Brad was shoving her out of his life from the very beginning. Hence, all the children to slow his departure from her down. Those children deserve more than adulterer and home wreckers for paternity example or guidance. Show some class Mr. Pitt and ditch the lies, the home wrecker and the fake relationship she stalked you onto a film shoot whilst you were marriage and still has the indecency to resort to more and more desperate antics to entrap you in the same empty Hollywood coupling you struggled to free yourself from only just a few years ago.
While I adore the work of Clint Eastwood he could not have gone with a more inappropriate actress to act as lead in this sensitive subject matter. I can only hope that it will return to the media forefront the curial importance of the right of Zahara's African birth mother Mentewab Dawit Lebiso who has been without her daughter long enough. Angelina has lied, home wrecked, schemed and plotted long enough. And, yet behind the scenes Brad's is still trying to free himself from her for another. Much like when Jen ran to the presses daily only for the world to discover that their marriage had been over for some time and the only thing that held the façade together was public relations and red carpet events. From 2008 Presidential Race to One Term Presidency For Sure
With the blunder that is the Barack Obama camp going with a none previously backed with millions of voters or followers choice Senator Joe Biden in his pocket Obama has made himself the one term presidency candidate race horse if nothing else.
The nonsensical decision to not choose Senator Hillary Clinton was to say the least advantageously taken into full opportunistic gain by Republican Senator John McCain. Senator McCain demonstrates that he either has the gumption to take the "maverick" approach with such a decision or the genius to capture those millions of wounded female voters who were no doubt let done when Senator Barack Obama made the abominable decision to not go with the most obvious dream winning team running mate pairing of Senator Hillary Clinton.
The way in which the Clinton's captivated the Democratic convention said it all. Obama may have wanted to make that very Democratic convention stage his own after finding himself also somewhat in awe of the dynamic Clinton dual, but will he keep the momentum all the way to the White House now that Senator Sarah Palin has come in with winds of "change" and historical relevance of her own.
An African American presidential candidate is one thing but the pairing of an African American presidential candidate along side the first female for vice-presidency running mate would have been out of this world for America, American politics as well as American history. Hell maybe even for the entire world. That… Senator Barack Obama would have been the seed of real "change."
The irony of it all just may be in that while Obama made the choice of Senator Bidden as his 2008 running mate, Senator Bidden in the same position just might have gone with Senator Hillary Clinton as a running mate without question over a Senator Barrack Obama if his own recent words are anything go by in which he suggests Senator Hillary Clinton would have made a better running mate.
Hey Senator Bidden... I AGREE! Get um next time Senator Hillary Clinton. Senator Hillary Clinton, see you at the Presidential White House as President elect in four years.

Hypocrisy of the Obama Team
Hillary and Bill Clinton may have gotten behind Barack Obama, but come on team Barack… what are you thinking. The pairing of Hillary and Bill are always going to be of the dynamics that could see the democrat's winning by a land slide up against like likes of John McCain. The hypocrisy of the Obama team speaks volumes. It is not everyday that a black American male gets this far in a presidential election.
Never actually being much of a real backer of Obama personally due to his green-ness around the edges verse the familiarity of the Clinton's and the Clinton administration that got the country out of the last tussle with the Mid-East.
Has "male' ego rather than what was in the best interest for the nation played the bigger hand in Obama’s decision to nominate Joe Biden instead. For whatever went wrong for team Clinton for president leading up to the events this week featured at consecutive election nights rallies calling for unity and the backing of Obama more than brought to the forefront the greatness of the Clinton team and their collective beneficial collaboration.
Is this a mis-step on the part of the Obama camp? Have they subsequently denied the United States a greater move forward and a greater if not much more secure future for the world on a whole. An Africa-American man getting this far in the race should have more than put aside the bad blood created during the election long enough to put the greater need for the country and democratic party to give a confident and comprehensive stand along side with Clinton and her supporters for the definitive run for office.
Ultimately, not just outing the Bush administration with style but also the republican self-serving rule and abandonement of all logic and fairness where the Mid-East war is concerned. Being of mixed race heritage is not something to take likely for better or for worst. Barack Obama should have set a better example of fairness himself in the appointment of a woman to the number two top spot in the nation even if that woman was named Hillary Clinton.
Shame on you Barack for not actually practicing that very spirit of giving you a man of color a chance to lead this nation when you in turn refused to give a woman that same benefit of the doubt and opportunity as well.

Biological Baby Experience...NEVER!
For the woman of the world who choose not to become mothers biologically so or by way of third world country stolen from the orphans’ country of origin, we salute you!
I am amongst you who have chosen career over motherhood now at age 39 years old. I truly believe that Brangelina has single handedly turned me off biological child birth, child bearing and child rearing in general after previous years of it being a most burning desire within me. The desire is completely gone. It feels wonderful to now focus on other things like career and freedom.
I am released from that damn biological ticking female internal clock for LIFE! So, to all the manufacturers of the now for me treasured birth control and birth conception prevention pill… I LOVE YOU and am a sworn life long customer or at least until menopause.
The thought of some mentally challenges reckless fool of a woman who is both unstable and A-moral with her emotional capacity deriving from manipulation and delusion along with her adultery committing former co-star allegedly conceiving and parenting... whatever!
Nonetheless, if was the wake up call my biological clock needed. It and me are over it AKA the biological baby thing for good.
There is no way in hell anything good could ever come of those two completely out of touch with reality cheating liars parenting animals in the wild let alone human life together.
P.S. Do worry kids I had self-serving parents growing up and all I did throughout childhood was plan my escape! And, escape I did. You each will grow up soon enough then each of you can make a run for it! Until then kids chin up. Idiot parenting is the absolute worst.
