Clooney, Cheadle awarded for Darfur efforts

George Clooney and Don Cheadle were awarded top humanitarian honors in Italy on Thursday. The honored Hollywood actors who are distinguished and respected for their extremely private lives as well as personal conduct have received a peace award for their tireless efforts to bring a call to action for the plight of the millions suffering in the Sudanese region of Darfur. A bronze statue by Italian sculptor Oliviero Rainaldi was presented to both actors for "their efforts in favor of pacifying the tormented region of Darfur and for helping save lives," organizers said.

Clooney, 46, said in a speech during the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of Nobel Peace Prize laureates held at Rome's city hall, "We're part of a tiny group of people fighting for peace.” The Nobel Peace Prize laureates meetings are organized by a foundation headed by former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. Also in attendance and in addition to Gorbachev were other Nobel winners including the Dalai Lama to partake of the ceremony on the Capitoline hill.

Clooney has raised both money and campaigned to raise international awareness and focus for Darfur. He continues to implore the international community to increase their efforts as well as support the necessary peace talks. More than 200,000 people are said to have died during this war. As many as 2.5 million people have been displaced since African rebels in Darfur commenced retaliation against the Arab-dominated Sudanese government in 2003.

The war will most likely continue to take its victims and toll on so many millions as a result the escalation of fighting in the region without international intervention. Clooney and Cheadle are co-founders of the humanitarian organization called Not on Our Watch together. Along with other stars including Matt Damon, the organization’s plight to bring international awareness to the multifaceted difficulties facing millions of Darfur's people is being achieved. Together they have raised more than $9.3 million for humanitarian efforts in the region.

Clooney gets a little physical with Fabio at restaurant

What started as a lovely evening out with his even lovelier girlfriend Sara Larson for George Clooney turned out to more than anyone bargained for when photograph snaps coming from a guest at Fabio's table got George heated under the collar. George thought the person was attempting to take photographs him and his girlfriend. This lead to an unfriendly gesture referred to as the bird, which of course lead Fabio to go over to George's table and, basically, take a closer look. Just kidding. Apparently, it was more like his telling George to get over himself. Clooney maybe already feeling completely over himself opted to get a little physical with Fabio so as to have no confusion as to who needed getting over whom perhaps! All is well that ends well as the two were physically pulled apart from one another and such as life the party went on. A man who stands up for his woman...ah!

CLOONEY ABOARD A-LIST ACTOR

George Clooney can do no wrong. The man is the quintessential man of the 21st century. No scandalous on set romances, running off with notorious serial co-stars chasing down actors already in committed relationship females, and no shacking up with man-eater entrapment disreputable Hollywood actresses for this guy!

There is no where in his professional or personal life that the grey areas of exploitative behavior, scandal or unsavory unholy union relationships appear. Let’s face it we are never going to see George’s love life played out like some sad grocery store lane tragic attention seeking soap opera. And, THANK GOD for that!

He is now making his own mark in joining the solutions to making green and going green an innovative way for the future for all. The "Michael Clayton" star will become an executive board member of a new Swiss energy company that will develop environmentally friendly technology for car engines and other devices, according to billionaire time-keeper Nicolas Hayek, chairman and firm founder of the Swatch Group.

We salute you George Clooney. A true renaissance man!

Angelina Jolie doesn't like George Clooney

I'm with you... George. Angelina and unrepentant orphan collecting are abdominal. She is notorious for using them for both publicity sake, to cover over her backlash man on film sets chasing who happen to already be in relationship with other woman at the time of her chase aka film shoot, and of course entrapment of silly gullible man.

Angelina's just mad because George won't fall for her ‘I’ve GOT orphans’ routine right into her bed and instead had plenty sense to stay away on her way to circling Brad for the entrapment move kill. Read here about how Angelina fears that George will lead Brad astray from his Daddy duties. “DADDY DUTIES” What a JOKE! Would this be the pot calling the kettle black or what what?

George leading Brad astray...hum. Wasn't Brad only like five minutes separated from the wife he had during the 2004 and not yet divorced in 2005 when Angelina rushed to get the African kid on the heels of their film shoot only concluding re-shoots just months before.

It was not like Brad was a single and available man or already split publicly from his then wife Jennifer Aniston or had even confirmed problems in his marriage during or at the time of his filming Mr. and Mrs. SMITH… was it? I definitely recall that not being the case at all. So, NO would be the answer to that. Instead, he was very much running around to premieres and red carpet events with Aniston all smiles during his film shoot with ANGLEINA like a devoted husband in a happy coupling. His publicist in October 2004 even denied the "GOLDEN COUPLING" of Brad and Jen would ever split or divorce... ever!

Hum... leading him astray. Or, wait could it be that she forgot about what she did to Billy Bob Thornton during their Pushing Tin (1999)film shoot on which Billy Bob was committed to the lovely Laura Dern in the fiancé way. Hum... leading one astray? Well, she would know all about leading one astray really wouldn't she.

Here at Excalibur-One we are GREAT lovers of George Clooney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, enormous FANS!
And, let's face it she has not got much of a career left and Brad PITT... what the hell was he thinking?

Is Clooney drama headed for the top spot at box office?

Here is wishing George Clooney who happens to also be in impressive recovery form from a nasty spill on his Harley with girlfriend Sara Larson all the best for his latest film flick called Michael Clayton. George delivers yet another even more impressive than his speedy recovery performance as a fixer in the legal drama which opened in limited release at the box office last weekend. Check for your local listing for a theatre near you.
