It's Official! First lady Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner won the presidency Sunday by a substantial margin. She is first woman in Argentine history to elected to the post as President of Argentina.

Argentina's New First Woman President?
Wife of Argentina's power couple Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has opened Argentina’s presidential election by coming well ahead of as many as thirteen other contenders for President. As senator, her husband Senator Nestor Kirchner, brought Argentina back from a $100 billion debt default. Now Fernandez is seeking to become the country’s first elected woman president ever.
