My Five Essential Movies List
In the latest issue of Esquire magazine, Leonardo DiCaprio opens up about his thoughts, views as well as very stunning photos of himself. The cover interview features a more candid DiCaprio who kindly shares his pick of five essential movies. The exceptional films that made his five essential movies list include Sci-fi favorite Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey, Vittorio De Sica's The Bicycle Thief, Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, Federico Fellini's 8 1/2 and Elia Kazan's East of Eden.
DiCaprio said when describing his thought about Kubrick and Clarke's film, "It's beyond a movie—it's a spiritual experience. You have to submerge yourself in it with the idea that Kubrick's intent was to make us understand our relationship with the universe. The more you watch it the more questions it asks." After reading this list of essential films conveyed by one of Hollywood's most esteemed and finest actors/producers, I came up with a five essential movies list of my own.
Topping my list is Doctor Zhivago (1965) film starring Omar Sharif as Yurf the Russian doctor/poet who falls in love with the stunning Julia Christie as Lara. In spite of being married, Yurf becomes utterly taken with Lara. Sadly, much like in real life some love is destined for doom and gloom. This epic tale delves into the underlining aspect of pain vs. ecstasy that often goes hand and hand within the most intense moment of love.
Not even Lara's passion for the revolutionary man she went onto to marry deterred the driving force and depths of love Yurf felt for Lara. It was as if he only became a whole man in her presence and enveloped within her love. Doctor Zhivago is an awe-inspiring epic film complete with the breathtaking scenery of Russian winter backdrop. Brad Pitt Dumped Angelina Jolie But Can't Find Anyone Crazy Enough to Take Him and the Aftermath On
Is Brad Pitt trapped in hell? He dumps Angelina Jolie annually. Pitt tried to flee her by running back to Jennifer Aniston last year when he appeared to break free of the barracuda Jolie and her sledge hammer also known as the Jolie-Pitt kids. And, now he is trapped in a hell of his making. The minute Jolie discovers with each of these partings that no other woman has taken up with Pitt five minutes later she is back at the maneuvers and manipulation to keep hold of him herself.
Earlier this year,Pitt appeared to rise bold enough to end the matter Ms. Jolie who just won’t let go off when he had the L.A.lawyers finalize the parting through official legal separation papers. Much to Jolie's surprise, the custody and visitation agreements along with the formally separation legal documents ended her efforts to pre-date the so called relationship five years for 'common law wife' pursuit purposes on her part.
Discovering that she can neither hold Pitt officially to child support payments as he is not the real "biological" father and her questionable African adoption denies her actual child support payment entitlement. The living African mother of Zaraha who continues to campaign for the return of the child to Africa is always the perfect weapon to utilize against Jolie seeking child support payment for the orphan children she so loves to exploit in the doomed matter called "Brangelina."
Pitt seemingly can not find anyone foolish or crazy enough to take on him, his former co-star and six kids with an unstable stalking mother for a 'baby mama." Leaving Pitt faced with the reality that he truly has gotten the situation with her very wrong. After all, who in there right mind wants to get involve with a man involved with that woman and that mess through those children. I, for one, am not that woman. Ironically, Aniston just might be the only woman who would take on that situation and have Pitt with open arms.
Annually, Jolie attempts to hold the lies and deception together so that she can flaunt herself on front covers that years ago would not give her narcissistic lifestyle the time of day. Jolie is clearly resorting to every other trick in the book to hang onto the charade known as Brangelina. Even orchestrating her own strategic photo opts as the "so called" evidence. While sulking and miserable Pitt seems unwilling to really face up to the reality of his folly completely.
As he is incapable of being a single parent, Jolie continues to power play the situation through those overexposed in the media children. There is something very disturbingly wrong with "Brangelina." If Pitt will not protect those children from the obvious exploitation inflicted upon them through their being ill used by Ms. Jolie then maybe, DSS should inevitably intervene on behalf of these children.
Pitt appears to be finding out the hard way that he allowance of Jolie to follow him around yearly through these children has ultimately cost him and his career dearly as the real praise of Hollywood Oscars and Globes is denied him.
Taking her out onto red carpet event seemingly needs to be a thing of the past. As Pitt was completely snubbed by every award ceremony there is in Hollywood in the lead up to the 2010 awards ceremony season. Pitt does risks the danger of further alienating himself from Hollywood forever. Especially, if he continues to surrender to the determination of someone so fool-hearted and prepared to do whatever it takes to entrap him and his finances even by hook or crook as it turns out.
Sad, Pitt was well on his way to a beautiful Hollywood status and career legacy. Something's and some people are simply not worth mixing with as in the long run there is always a bigger price to pay for adultery, deception and in this case even fraud.

Scotty Lago Pictures Online
Olympic Halfpipe bronze medalist Scotty Lago has already been caught in some rather compromising photos which have surfaced onto the internet. The pictures taken on Thursday night in Vancouver, feature the bronze medalist Lago letting his hair down just a little to much if you are me. But, whose judging right?
And, bye the way who is the girl in the photos near his private parts. I mean, really, the guy just won a bronze medal for heaven sake.
The photos that put Lago in the hot seat with Olympic officials at the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association warranted his immediate apology. Lago then abruptly opted to leave Vancouver.

Leonardo DiCaprio King of the Hollywood Heap!
Leonardo DiCaprio is the hot hunk on the latest issue of Esquire and let me personally ad… OMG! It is insane how wonderful he looks and even more insane that like a fine wine DiCaprio has become even finer now then he was 10 years old. Keeping himself well under the Hollywood couple and media publicity driven circus has kept this 30 something guy at the top of his game. Looking particularly dapper for this newest issue of the men’s’ and ladies magazine for that matter makes you wonder why the gorgeous man is not yet married. Oh, yes, he does have a beautiful model girlfriend. I guess, enough said.
Catch him in full glory next in his up and coming film entitled The 'Shutter Island.' DiCaprio stars opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams and Max Von Sydow. Sound like a scrumptious cast and even more scrumptious collaboration of mega talent making this film one to watch most definitely if you ask me. Alexander McQueen had found the perfect muse in musical sensation Lady Gaga. The two were like fashion magic onto gigantic platform heels. McQueen was just the designer to turn Gaga completely inside out and provide her with the most “unique” on the music scene around. Not afraid to push the envelope was something these two fashionista seemed to have most in common. Anything in fashion “goes’ might have been their secret motto. When it came to the most outrageously constructed ‘I would not be catch in the darkness wearing that dress’ out there or designed by McQueen it was definitely the kind of dress right up Gaga’s alley.
McQueen made Gaga sparkle literally with the eccentric style dresses and outfits that Gaga's bold as heck fashion sense required. How Sweet is Life for Penelope Cruz?
A great guy by her side, a private life fit for any Hollywood starlet of the old Hollywood days when being a respected actor was an actor's main objective. Rather than the celebrity blow by blow personal life soap opera spattered on front cover after front cover by celebrity attention seekers completely and utter out of control. KINGSTON, Jamaica- If you are a fan of Bob Marley then you would already know all there is to know about the annual birthday celebrating his life on Feb. 6th. The birthday celebration is an annual tradition that became the way of Kingston life for decades. This year's celebrations were expected to surpass the festivities of years gone by. The musical event of Kingston, Jamaica was distinguished by all who strive to keep the spirit of Marley's music alive through his fans and followers. This year was expected to be no different except for the very large matter of the celebrations being called off for the first time in years. The news of the concert's cancellation appears to have been rather late in the day as those visiting Kingston annually had discovered at the very last minute.
Holiday makers who attempted to coordinate their vacation time with the Feb 6th Bob Marley Birthday Bash Celebration got the shock of their lives. Facebook is launching their new look and make-over for 2010. Not satisfied with the last “new” look the mega multi-communication networking mega website featured a few years ago. Yes, the most popular and ever expanding multi media communication in the world is cleaning up their act to bring a chic look and more efficient layout.
Not only will there be a new layout but some great new live chat features as well. Apparently, your list of friends is displayed in full. The online chat facility allows you to commence conversation with friends instantly. Just use the chat box located at the right hand bottom corner of your Facebook page. The find friend’s box has a new location to the more sensible left hand side of the site.
Facebook is definitely going out of their way to keep their long-term and new Facebook users exceedingly satisfied with their service in this ever changing world. They better. Twitter mostly like put the Facebook under pressure with the meteoric rise to the forefront to the internet multi-interfacing race.

Angelina Jolie Officially a Single Mother
Legal papers Brad Pitt finally had his lawyers draw up in December 2009 were definitely necessary after Jolie appeared not to accept Pitt's annual attempts to move on. Ending was in the air since at the start of 2007, when Pitt moved out of the New Orleans home he purchased just weeks before. But by the end of 2009, it became more than necessary for him to call in the legal team to make it exceedingly clear to Ms. Jolie that she and Pitt are declared "over." The signed legal documents formally made Jolie a single mother of six. Still Jolie attempts to declare herself and Pitt back on much in the way ex-wife Jennifer Aniston did five year ago. Even after the two have also signed legal separation papers, Jolie appears determined to continue the charade of this the unceremonious union in the media. Apparently, Pitt found the task of playing nice guy for the sake of peaceful circumstances in their parting ways behind the scenes early on last year and presumably the year before just not feasible or realistic at all. Spidey Shakedown: No Maguire and Raimi
Spiderman without the beloved Toby McGuire...? Is this even possible you may ask? Sadly, the answer is definitely yes. As of January 2010, Spiderman 4 is no more. Instead, Spiderman 4 will be revised for what was expected to be another smash hit for the heavily grossing at the box office action flick. The highly anticipated sequel to the mega hit Spiderman comic is to go ahead without major key personnel according to Insider Movies. Reports have confirmed that lead actor 34 year old McGuire will not appear in Spiderman 4. McGuire now a family man declined reprising the role that propelled him into the hearts of millions as the web slinging hero of the silver screen. Fourth installment of the Spiderman franchise also sees the star direction of director Sam Rami opting out. The departure of the director responsible for bringing his vision for Spiderman to the level of global acceptance and box office revenue success could spell disaster for the latest installment. Previous reports suggested huge clashes occurring between Rami and studio bosses over the finer details of the script which proved more than Rami were prepared to deal with. Rami leaving the Spiderman production along with McGuire have created a rather large gapping whole in the infrastructure of the production. Read more
